🎉 A day of celebration at Killard House School! 🎉
Wed 01 Oct 2025🎉 A day of celebration at Killard House School! 🎉
Today we officially opened our brand-new inclusive playground, thanks to the incredible support of Wooden Spoon – the children’s charity of rugby. Their generous grant of £13,000 has transformed our vision into reality, creating play sheds, a castle, a clatter bridge, and a dino ramp that will benefit every pupil at Killard.
We are also grateful to:
- Tesco Stronger Starts, who contributed £1,000 towards stocking the sheds with resources.
- Our parents, for their generous contributions to help stock the sheds.
- And our community, whose support through the Tesco blue token scheme and encouragement throughout has been invaluable.
At Killard, play isn’t just fun—it’s a core part of learning, supporting communication, social skills, regulation, and imagination. This new playground will give our pupils opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive every single day.
👏 Thank you Wooden Spoon for believing in this vision, and to everyone who played a part in making it possible.
