Chillax
Chillax Youth Club
Chillax Youth Club started in 2012 for pupils in Killard House School. It is open to secondary pupils from Year 8 to Year 14. We originally started it in Killard House school in Donaghadee but now it runs every Tuesday evening at the Elim church, 13 Balloo Cresent, Bangor, BT19 7WP.
Chillax starts at 6.30pm until 8.30pm. The cost is £2.00 per child and there is a tuck shop selling snacks and drinks, so if they want to bring extra money they can.
At Chillax we play football, badminton, uni hockey, games, X box, bingo nights, quiz nights, dance nights or just chill and chat with your friends!
Last term we had trips to Airtastic, Omniplex cinema, chippy nights and pizza nights and we look forward to having more reward nights this term.
We are lucky to have a team of Killard House School staff working at Chillax.

Last term was great fun and we decided on the last night before Easter to arrange an inflatable assault course and a penalty shoot-out as a reward for all their fantastic behaviour. Everyone including staff had a great time, finishing off with Mauds ice cream. A nice way to end before the Easter break.
Some of the activities we have been doing in Chillax this year. Before half term we had two dance instructors and everyone took part showing off their moves. Super fun. We have had pizza nights, movie nights, a chippy night to name a few. Mr Marshall and Mr Nelson baked pancakes for Pancake Tuesday and they were delicious! Hopefully lots more fun to be had before the Easter break.
