P4-5J
Welcome to our page! We are P4/5 class, consisting of 5 amazing boys and 2 super girls. We are a busy and lively class who love learning through sensory approach, outdoor learning and music. Our primary goal is to build positive relationships with our pupils who learn the best when they’re happy. Then we focus on their targets and 1-1 work.
We focus largely on communication and we adapt a total communication approach, which consists of a combination of communication methods. We use Makaton, pecs, visual schedules, core boards and communication books to support pupils’ speech and communication. We use strategies such as intensive interactions, attention autism and sensory stories to support pupils’ attention and engagement in learning.
We feel very privileged that we can support our pupils in P4/5 and their families!
We have had a very busy May, enjoying outdoor learning with some sunshine. We loved our trips to the beach and The Ark farm!
