Kate's Class
Welcome to our P2 class, where we enjoy play-based learning and sensory exploration! Our curriculum is designed to engage our pupils through sensory activities, Attention Autism, art, sensory story, story massage, cookery, music and Sensology. We pritoritize getting to know each pupil's likes and dislikes, fostering an environment where they feel comfortable to explore. Have a look at our highlights and see the activities we are enjoying!

May Highlights! We have been exploring the core words ‘like’ and ‘not like’ and using GoTalk app to comment. We loved our ice-cream treats and our visit from Exploris!
April Highlights! We loved our Easter themed Attention Autism and the Easter bouncy castle. We also enjoyed our visit from Summer the pony!
March Highlights! We have been focusing on the core phrase ‘I want’, we made choices for pancake toppings using the GoTalk app. We have also been practising mark making!
February Highlights! This month we are focusing on the phrase 'I want'. We are enjoying making choices using GoTalk and core boards. We had lots of fun on our bus trip too.
January Highlights! We had three birthday parties in January. We loved learning about winter weather and experiencing it on our walks. Our favourite activity this month was Attention Autism.
December Highlights! We had lots of fun in December. Santa visited our classroom, we had a bus trip to the park and we had fun playing parachute games.
November Highlights! Autumn leaves were our favourite things to play with this month. We also enjoyed some process art activities including a paint walk.
October Higlights! This month we enjoyed exploring Minibeasts and Autumn through sensory play. We loved making chocolate apples during cookery time.
September Highlights! We have been enjoying sensory play and making cupcakes.
