At Killard House School, we want every pupil to be fully engaged in their learning experiences. Through everyday communication with parents and guardians, we understand the importance of prioritising comfort and practicality for our pupils throughout the school day.

Our learning approach is explorative, hands-on and stimulating, and while this often creates exciting opportunities for discovery, it can occasionally be a little messy.  

In 2023-2024 Student Council input, consultation with staff and feedback from parents and families guided us in the changes made to our school uniform and led to the uniform that our pupils wear now.

Our uniform has been carefully chosen to provide comfort, flexibility and ease of care, allowing pupils to participate confidently in all aspects of school life.

It is "easy wash" and "easy iron", reflecting feedback from parents who have identified durability and simple maintenance as key priorities. This practical approach ensures that pupils are comfortable, ready to learn and able to make the most of every school day.
