Welcome to our KS3 Explore class.

In our classroom, we aim to provide a supportive, structured and engaging environment where every young person is encouraged to develop their independence, communication and problem-solving skills. Lauren, Rachel and Carly work closely together to ensure that learning is meaningful, accessible and responsive to the individual needs of our pupils.

Our classroom is carefully zoned to support learning throughout the day. We have areas for structured learning, group work, independent work, snack and relaxation. Our kitchen area also provides practical opportunities to develop independence and everyday life skills.

We follow the Equals Semi-Formal Curriculum alongside aspects of the Northern Ireland Curriculum, with a focus on meaningful learning, life skills and independence.
