Welcome to our class! 🌟

Our classroom is a relaxed, nurturing sensory environment where every child is supported to learn, grow and thrive at their own pace. Led by Hannah, Cheryl, Lori and Nicola, we focus on developing communication, independence and confidence through meaningful, engaging experiences tailored to the individual needs of our pupils.

Our learning is supported by the Core Word Programme, helping children develop functional communication skills throughout the day. We incorporate sensory integration activities, regular movement breaks and personalised strategies to ensure our pupils are regulated, ready to learn and able to access a wide range of experiences.

We follow the Equals Curriculum, providing practical, hands-on learning opportunities that build independence and life skills. We love getting outdoors and enjoy exploring and learning through outdoor learning, as well as engaging in exciting activities such as Attention Autism (Attention Bucket) sessions and cookery, which help develop attention, communication, social interaction and independence.
