Year 8 Mrs Dowling
Hello lovely Year 8, this is a message from Mrs Dowling and Mrs Bower to wish you all well! It is hard to believe that we haven’t been together in class since March. Mrs Bower and I were both in school today working in our classroom and chatting about what a super class you were and how much we both still miss you. This wasn’t quite the year we had planned and we have both enjoyed working with you so much.I want to wish you all a great summer and can’t wait until September when you will be back in school as Year 9 pupils.Much love and a big hug to you all, love Mrs D & Mrs B ❤️💋

Hello from Mrs D!
Week beginning 04/05/2020 Mr Nelson Numeracy Tasks......................................................Hi Year 8, hope you are all still doing really good. It was strange having some rain this week; it had been a while. Joseph, Will and I went puddle hunting and had a great time splashing. I hope the sun will be back out again this week. We would have been of this Friday coming for a Bank Holiday so maybe treat yourself to a 4-day week 😊. I have allocated some new books and some maths games. I’m putting up a time capsule this week for you to start (colour the cover and complete the first 2 pages) and work on over the next few weeks. We are living through something that will be talked about for years to come, so thought it would be cool for you to store some of your information in it. I am also posting some numeracy pages based on length. As always have a good go on what suits you. Please don’t be stressing about it. Miss you all, Mr N 😊

Dear Parents / Guardians, As explained in the school comms message that was sent home regarding new resources being uploaded for this term please check out the 2 help sheets that will hopefully allow you to access the Active Learn website from home. Once logged in you should be able to access Literacy / Numeracy and Science activities / resources for your son / daughter set by individual teachers. Teachers will explain on class pages what activities they have set and then hopefully when you get logged into Active Learn you will find specific resources / tasks / e-books set for your child. The first help sheet explains how to get on to the Active Learn website and how to log in. The second help sheet gives similar information followed by more specific details about e-reading books set for your child. Thank you Mrs A McBratney

Life Skills Tasks 1
Hello everyone,I hope you are all well and not spending all day inside on your computers .
I cannot stress enough the importance of daily reading, it doesn’t have to be a book it can be a comic, shopping list or a TV guide( anything you are interested in ).
It would be great if you could sit down with an adult and write a few sentences about your time at home.
