P7 MLD Mrs Derrick
Well P7, that's us done with school work now until after the Easter Holidays! Be sure to keep your minds and bodies busy and try to think of some fun stuff you can do at this time, even though we can't go out much....egg painting, designing eggs, egg obstacle races, egg racing, cooking with eggs - scrambled egg or french toast (dipped bread into a beaten egg and fry in the pan...then a wee topping of syrup.....yum!) and I've included below a wee recipe for Easter nests or you could use your own recipe. Do have a lovely Easter - remember the true meaning and also make sure you watch the video below too!! See if you recognise anyone!
Happy Easter P7
Who is it?
Week 2 Starting: Monday 30th March Welcome back my lovely P7's to 'Learning from Home!' - Below are some activities for you to have a go at this week! Next time I will split them up so you can see: Lit/Num/RE/ART/World Around Us. Please parents/carers read the letter first and if you can keep the suggested outline of a 'daily schedule' as it can be used from week to week! Happy Easter activities! Stay safe and well and know I am thinking of you, Mrs D :) (Miss Crothers and Miss Bower send their 'hello's' too!
Letter for parents/carers....please read!
Message from Mrs D
Some literacy activities combining spelling and handwriting, but remember reading is the best thing you can be doing as outlined in letter.....Also look for items at home that start with the sounds s and t.
There are some numeracy links here for you to have a look at and choose what you might be able to do - some place value and adding to keep you going. Also some 'time' activities.
Now - as part of our fabulous 'Victorians' topic - enjoy the long awaited episode about Maggie (clink link below I hope!) and think/talk about about her jobs, how she's feeling, what jobs you do or could do at home and what she should do about Susan!
