One last birthday in P7 to celebrate and one last session of SUNI to watch and think through! Otherwise all you wonderful P7 people a huge THANKYOU for all you've done especially over the last number of weeks and take care of yourselves. It wasn't the year we had planned but I've loved teaching you and I can't wait to see you in your blazers ready for Year 8!! Week 11: Week beginning Monday 15th June
Wow!! Well done to those of you who have accessed this and had a go at some activities - this is the last week of Distance Learning (although I will upload the last SUNI 'It's Your Move' next week...). I hope you are well and continuing to stay active and busy - please make sure you join in with Mrs Curry's DIY Sports Day this week! Check out her PE page for lots of ideas! Main priority this week too is to have a think through your P7 year and reflect a bit - think about the best bits, what you've learnt, your friends, plans for next year....it's good to stop and think sometimes! Week 10 - Week beginning: Mon 8th June
Hello P7 and parents/carers!
I hope you're all well and even thought the weather hasn't been so good I hope you're keeping busy and active and preparing for Mrs Curry's DIY Sports Day over on her PE page - spot me doing a standing high jump (not very high as I hardly leave the ground - you could do much better - so go on, give it a go....) Also someone's birthday...
Well we're so nearly at the end of June and so for the last few weeks your priority is 'Your Mission' and also to check out the SUNI 'It's your Move' link to their activities, in preparation for moving on - really great ideas and things to think about as we come near the end of P7. So I'm putting these important areas first this week before Lit/Num as the link below is brilliant and will help you begin to think about 'moving on' from primary...It's called 'It's your Move', made by Scripture Union NI and the first week is called: 'CHANGE' - please watch and talk about with an adult, as some really helpful bits in here!
Literacy - great questions to think and talk about again and then just a couple of spelling/sound activities. A few bits on Active Learn also for everyone!
Numeracy - Some using cm and measuring liquids this week in ml. Remember to check out the Active Learn website - instructions above....

Hello all you lovely people! Isn't this crazy that it is JUNE and hasn't the weather been fabulous? - I hope you've been able to be outside lots and staying safe in the sun! This is officially our last month 'at school' for P7 - so if you can do a few wee bits this week that would be good! Well P7, that's us done with school work now until after the Easter Holidays! Be sure to keep your minds and bodies busy and try to think of some fun stuff you can do at this time, even though we can't go out much....egg painting, designing eggs, egg obstacle races, egg racing, cooking with eggs - scrambled egg or french toast (dipped bread into a beaten egg and fry in the pan...then a wee topping of syrup.....yum!) and I've included below a wee recipe for Easter nests or you could use your own recipe. Do have a lovely Easter - remember the true meaning and also make sure you watch the video below too!! See if you recognise anyone!

Next time I will split them up so you can see: Lit/Num/RE/ART/World Around Us. Please parents/carers read the letter first and if you can keep the suggested outline of a 'daily schedule' as it can be used from week to week! Happy Easter activities! Some literacy activities combining spelling and handwriting, but remember reading is the best thing you can be doing as outlined in letter.....Also look for items at home that start with the sounds s and t.
There are some numeracy links here for you to have a look at and choose what you might be able to do - some place value and adding to keep you going. Also some 'time' activities.
Now - as part of our fabulous 'Victorians' topic - enjoy the long awaited episode about Maggie (clink link below I hope!) and think/talk about about her jobs, how she's feeling, what jobs you do or could do at home and what she should do about Susan!
